How to create a Bitget API Key

First, log in to your Bitget account.

Once logged in, on your homepage, click your Profile Icon and click API Keys in the dropdown, or just follow this link.

Open Bitget's API Key Page

This will take you to your Biitget's account API Keys page, where you can manage your API keys.

Click the Create API Key button and then select 'System-generated API key' on the pop-up.

Click System-generated API Key

Fill out the Name (Note) field of the form with the desired name for your API key.

Enter a Passphrase for your API Key and keep it somewhere safe.

Under Permissions, select Read-write.

Grant the necessary permissions by checking the following checkboxes beneath:

• Futures

  • Orders

  • Holdings

• Spot

  • Trade

• Margin

  • Trade

Fill out the API Key Ceation Form

For added security, paste your DaviddTech IP addresses in the Bind IP addresses textbox (Optional).

Copy your IP Addresses by clicking the Connect My Exchange button on this page, then clicking the copy icon next to the IP Address(es) in the popup form.

Click Next and complete the security verification.

Your API Key and API secret will then be revealed—copy them somewhere safe.
