Follow this guide to learn how to create a Bybit API key and connect your Bybit account to DaviddTech.

How to Create a New Bybit API Key

First, log in to your Bybit account.

Once logged in, on your homepage, hover over your Profile Icon then click API in the sidebar that appears.

Open your API management page

This will take you to your Bybit's account API Management page, where you can manage your API keys.

Click the Create New Key button then System-generated API Keys.

Select the Connect to Third-Party Applications option under API Key Usage

Select "DaviddTech" from the Application Name dropdown field.

Select DaviddTech under Application Name

Check the Read-write checkbox under API Key permissions.

Now, check the Unified Trading option underneath the textbox to grant the necessary permissions for automated trading.

Grant Permissions and Submit

Click the Submit button.

If prompted, enter your two-factor authentication (2FA) code.

Your API Key and API secret will be revealed—copy them somewhere safe.

Whitelist IPs (Advanced Users)

This is for users who prefer to have their API key usage restricted to only whitelisted IP addresses.

Watch this video or follow these steps to whitelist DaviddTech's IP addresses:

  • Select the API Transaction option under API Key Usage (instead of Connect to Third-Party Applications).

  • Now, name your API key and make sure it has "Read-write" API Key permissions.

  • Ensure the "Only IPs with permission granted..." option is checked.

  • Paste DaviddTech's IP addresses into the checkbox underneath.

  • Now, check the Unified Trading option underneath the textbox to grant the necessary permissions to enable automated trading.

  • Click the Submit button.

  • If prompted, enter your two-factor authentication (2FA) code.

  • Your API Key and API secret will be revealed—copy them somewhere safe.
